Leeds-based digital security specialist Xentra has secured a £2.7m funding round.
Xentra specialises in subscription-based managed cybersecurity, digital compliance, and safeguarding services.
Through its “STAX” software bundles and centralised customer portal, the company simplifies the procurement and management of round-the-clock IT protection infrastructure.
The Yorkshire firm currently works with over 90 enterprise and education clients, including Leeds United Football Club, Leeds Bradford Airport, and the Shaw Education Trust.
With the fresh capital secured, the company plans to make several key senior leadership appointments to support its scaling operations.

“The funding will allow us to invest in our people, our technology and our customer experience, ensuring we continue to deliver the high levels of service now expected as we scale.
The investment was delivered by Maven Capital Partners, with capital from the Maven VCTs alongside NPIF II – Maven Equity Finance, part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II.

The business has quadrupled ARR in the last two years alone across a customer database of over 90 and we’re delighted to invest at this time as the business continues to scale.”
