StirlingX raises £15m to scale sovereign data intelligence platform

The Series A was led by Ventura Capital and RCM Private Markets Master Fund

StirlingX has raised a $20m (£15m) Series A just eight months after closing its seed round.

StirlingX is building a sovereign intelligence and autonomy platform that lets defence and critical national infrastructure customers capture, secure, fuse and act on high-value data in complex and contested environments, from surveying and monitoring infrastructure to detecting and countering hostile drones. 

The capital will accelerate company growth and product development to support customers delivering complex missions in the hardest of operating environments.

The investment round was led by Ventura Capital and RCM Private Markets Master Fund managed by Rokos Capital Management US.

The company, chaired by the former director of GCHQ, says it addresses one of the most consequential challenges in modern national security – the secure capture of, and ability to act upon, high-value data at speed and scale in complex, sensitive and contested environments....
